Details & Design
This exclusive Red Riding Hood look is designed by our costume designers and is sure to make you feel like you're stepping out of a storybook. The dress has a beautiful off-shoulder eyelet lace sleeves and a velvet, dirndl-style bodice. Matching white lace trims the white apron and hemline. The dress is topped with a flowing red cape that ties at the neck in a velvet-textured bow. The matching red hood has ruffles around the face to give you an extra timeless feel when you're facing down the big bad wolf.

Little Red Ridinghood doesn't always have a happy ending, that doesn't mean your night won't! Pair this ensemble with a picnic basket and partner up with the wolf and there's no more reason to fear the woods. I ordered the red riding hood costume and am disappointed. The bodice was sized very poorly for the vertical length fit (for a plus) but was fine for horizontal girth. The bodice fit like an empire waist dress right under the bust. so the corset look did not look as it should ,all bunched and loose looking like it needed real stays inserted as there was no look of a waist. The apron was to narrow and since the bodice was too short vertically the apron does not fit correctly unless it is stitched to the costume. The straps are too narrow to cover bra straps. It would be much better if it had elastic edged blouse with elasticized short sleeves attached to the top vs elastic ruffle to indicate blouse. Liked the idea of this costume as it wasn't designed as a hot and sexy costume as others are. Unfortunately this costume does fall short of expectation. The cape was very nice and the skirt on costume was fine. The picture you show for this costume shows a longer bodice length and a waist.

This is a great costume and very good quality, especially the hooded cape. I think I will enjoy wearing it and be comfortable as well!
